Baptism

So this week was incredible! For starters we had the baptism for H_ which was awesome! So the mom told us that the primary was taking care of everything and about 5 minutes before the baptism they asked us to give the talks about baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost... needless to say they were super short, but I think we killed it. Other than that the baptism went great!!!

Very Friendly Family

So one amazing thing that happened this week is that we had a Faatamaaraa with a family who was so insanely excited for us to come and eat with them they decorated the house with flowers and made us some hais (flower necklaces). They even wrote a lot of Tahitian words on the walls and helped us learn them. We're so blessed!

Teaching Erwan

This week we had an amazing lesson with a recent convert! E_ was having some problems and we had no idea how to help him until we got into this lesson and somehow we were able to help him realise the answers for himself. He even said "You missionaries are really good at seeing right through people," and I can testify it's for sure not us. There's no way we could have seen his problem just by ourselves, it's all the spirit.

P-day with the Zone

Anyway, that was kind of the highlights of our week, but we had a super awesome P-day! We were able to go to a motu! A motu is a super small island that is still on the reef of a bigger island, so we could go as a zone! Even the elders came from Tahaa and we all made hamburgers and played volleyball. It was so cool! I even found a super cool shell and had a magical "Moana" moment, so all in all it was an awesome P-day!
