IAORANA TATOU!!! We made Book of Mormon Risk because we were really sick last week and had to stay home... It actually works super well! Dice here are like $5 each though, but I'd say it's a good investment. Singing Fireside So this week was actually the craziest! Well, I guess not this week but like the past couple days. Anyway, to start we had an awesome Coin Feu (fireside) with the theme "Light the World" in one of the Elders' wards. We all came and sang a musical number which sounded pretty good considering not very many of us can sing. ;) But it was so good, all of the 5 investigators there agreed to take the missionary lessons! I'd say that's a little miracle! We'll do one in our sector this Sunday.  Tracting! (There are some houses down there we can't get to by car) Meeting New Old Investigators The Crazy Amount of Eggs We Have in Our Fridge Our P-day was moved to Wednesday this week because we had a confe...

Iaorana Tatou!!! BREAKING NEWS: I am leaving the beautiful island of Huahine and my wonderful companion Soeur Miller to go next door to Raiatea. It’s kind of funny because that’s exactly what Soeur Wissocq (my trainer) did, and it’s normal for sisters to serve in the islands only once. I guess it runs in the family! ;) Also, I’m going to the area Soeur Kendall (my MTC comp) was just in! Talk about a small world! We’re also doing a whitewash which means that both me and my companion will both be new to the sector. Pray for us, she’s only been in French Polynesia for 3 weeks longer than me. Maybe a special fast is in order… Just kidding, it’ll be great! Also we’ll be in a car and  neither of us know how to drive manual , so you might hear more driving adventures. Normally I would fly today, but I fly out  on Wednesday  morning because SOEUR MILLER IS GOING TO BE A MOM! She’s training someone new when I leave! I’m so excited for her, and I know she’s going to be awe...

Frere Mapuhi and Daughter, complete with Back Brace and Machete Iorana!!! Frere Mapuhi and a P-day Like No Other So I was prepared to write an email just about how Tahiti is different because I didn't have anything super exciting to write about this week, but life can change very quickly. I now have something to write about!!! So I had probably my biggest adventure yet today, so buckle up and keep your hands and feet inside of the ride at all times. So it all started  on Sunday  after church. Frere Mapuhi came and asked us what we were planning on doing for our P-day. When we responded that we didn't have anything going on except emailing he asked if we wanted to go on a hike with his family and "Talk to God on the mountain," Obviously we were intrigued, so we quickly agreed. We knew we were in for a big treat when we showed up at his house this morning and he was equipped with a back brace, machete, a Little Mermaid backpack, and his trusted dog named ...
